3D Live Vue 3.7 release
Triaxes 3D Live Vue software is for fast 3D lenticular printing, which enables to put the client’s photo into the virtual scene (VUE — Virtual User Environment).
This software makes the following types of photos:
- Glasses-free 3D and flip photos for lenticular printing;
- 3D animation GIFs (wiggle 3D);
- Anaglyph 3D (for red-cyan glasses);
- Stereo 3D (L&R frames) for stereoscopes;
- Regular 2D photo – file in a virtual scene.
What’s new?
- Optimized project file size.
In the new version, you can open old project files and resave them in the new project format (.3dlv).
The file size is almost twice as small, and the opening has become faster; - New features:
- ability to add .psd, .psdd files as a new layer;
- export/import of the .PSDD project type – this adds compatibility with 3DMasterKit;
- saving an image or a layer depth map to a file (from the layer context menu);
- changing the layer name (from the layer context menu);
- ability to select image types and export files via the Save all… button (Tools–>Settings–>Save tab);
- ability to select the user interface theme: system, or dark grey (by default).

3DMasterKit 10.1 and new discount
- Update for Triaxes 3DMasterKit and Legend v.10.1 has been released;
- New 20% discount on software packages. If you buy two products at the same time, for example, 3DMasterKit and StereoTracer, you will get a 20% discount for the total amount.
What’s new in version 10.1
New features
- “Layer to image size” function added to the context menu of the layer;
- “Auto resize layer to image size” function added to the Settings dialog.
These functions allow you to make editing of layers and depth maps in external editors more stable and predictable. This is especially important when working with an external Adobe Photoshop editor and depth maps that are larger than the layer size.
Changes
- Automatic depth map scaling was removed. Previous versions of the program, when connecting to a depth map layer, reduced the depth map size to the layer size. This could lead to distortion of the depth map and difficult-to-detect errors;
- Support for the depth map larger than the layer image was added. If an image and a depth map are loaded as layers in the project, the depth map can be connected to the layer based on their relative location.
Fixed bugs
- .mp4 export error, if there were spaces in the path;
- Legend: error with the lenticular encoding when mirroring was on;
- Legend: error with the name of the encoded lenticular file.
