HK Electronics Fair 2012 – Welcome to see unique Glasses-free 3D TV tech

Triaxes Vision, Elecard and Sisvel Technology invite you to experience the latest and most advanced 3D TV glasses-free technology at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) on October 13-16, 2012 in Hong Kong, China. The companies will be showing a stunning 3D TV solution that brings superb video quality and supports live ultra low delay transcoding.
The exhibited solution, jointly developed by Triaxes Vision and Sisvel Technology, takes advantage of 3DZ Tile, a universal 3D video format that is fully compatible with both regular 2D and 3D TV sets, as well as glasses-free 3D TV sets (ASD). This new format brings a very practical advantage for the future deployment of 3D TV all around the world by making it possible for both 2D and 3D TV set owners to receive the broadcast signal.
At the exhibition, the visitors will get a first-hand experience of a live 3D mirror image on a glasses-free 3D TV screen with a minimum 0.2 second delay. They will also have a chance to try out Triaxes Vision’s video content converter for glasses-free 3D and find out more about Elecard’s digital TV solutions.

Thanks to the close collaboration between  Triaxes and Sisvel Technology the ability to make video in 3DZ Tile format is now available with Triaxes DepthGate software.

DepthGate 2.0 3D Preview Feature

We noticed that 3D preview window didn’t switch to 3D mode automatically when dragging onto Dimenco and Phillips ASD. Now this issue is fixed, and we would like to draw your attention to this great feature.

Feature description.

It’s not necessary to export all video stream in case you need just to evaluate the quality of the 3D effect. Just use the 3D View feature.

Step 1. Select the frame to evaluate and switch to the Depth Map tab.

Step 2. Select the parameters of the depth map generation.

Step 3. Press 3D View button on the main tool bar or use Ctrl+T.

Step 4. Drag this window onto a Dimenco ASD and you will see the frame in 3D. It helps you to understand how good the set of the selected depth map parameters are. Now you can just continue to play with the parameters and see the results instantly.

New universal 3D video format to be announced at IBC-2012, 7-11 Sept. Amsterdam.

Triaxes together with Sisvel Technology (Italy) is eager to introduce the newest innovatory Universal 3DZ Tile format that is expected to be a breakthrough in 3D TV broadcasting.
3DZ Tile format provides great 3D image quality and is highly compatible with all sorts of displays (2D displays, glasses 3D and glasses-free 3D displays), which makes it genuinely universal.

Brief history remark

Earlier Sisvel Technology introduced a unique 3D Tile format enabling to get greater 3D image quality compared to conventional Side-by-Side 3D TV format. Moreover it was also compatible with 2D displays.
Triaxes Vision company added additional information to the Sisvel 3D Tile format, the so called depth map (Z), which contains image volume data. This information greatly enhances the compatibility characteristics of the format.

Thanks to the close collaboration between  Triaxes and Sisvel Technology the ability to make video in 3DZ Tile format is now available with Triaxes DepthGate software.

Features and benefits of the new format will be demonstrated at IBC-2012, 7-11 Sept. Amsterdam RAI.

Triaxes presents the very newest version of DepthGate, 3D glasses to glasses-free conversion software.

Release StereoTracer 6.0

3D enthusiasts community was looking forward to the release of  the new StereoTracer 6.0 that was announced earlier this year. Finally, Triaxes Team is glad to introduce a new and more efficient version of StereoTracer!
