Triaxes to Announce 3DMasterKit and StereoTracer 5.0 at NAB 2011

Triaxes, a software development and service company, will be demonstrating its updated 3DMasterKit and StereoTracer products at annual NAB Show, taking place April 11-14 in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Triaxes will be at Booth NC10512C2.

Triaxes offers comprehensive solutions for 3D image creation using stereo-photo or even 2D images for photographers, stereographers, graphical artists and advertising studios.

StereoTracer

Triaxes StereoTracer converts 2D images or stereo-photo into glasses-free 3D format. StereoTracer automatically generates multiview stereo frames for lenticular 3D photo printing.

Depth Map Processing

StereoTracer uses depth maps to create 3D images out of a single 2D image. The gray color gradation shows each pixel’s distance from the viewer. StereoTracer can work with user-drawn depth maps for 2D photos or automatically calculate the depth map for source stereo pairs.

• New! Depth maps generated for both Left and Right frame significantly improve series generation.

Stereo Camera Compatibility

StereoTracer supports the MPO file format used by the Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D camera. The program automatically converts stereo MPO files into multiview stereo sequences for lenticular 3D photo printing.

The auto alignment feature enables the user to obtain a better 3D visualization effect.

3DMasterKit creates 3D images out of a series of photos taken with a stereo photo rig.

Layers and Depth Map

3DMasterKit creates 3D images out of a single layered 2D image. The program allows users to arrange layers in Z-order and customize the intensity of 3D effects. 3DMasterKit also uses a depth map for each separate layer to build up a natural 3D effect.

Stereo Photo

3DMasterKit enables lenticular 3D photo printing of multiview stereo sequence generated by StereoTracer out of stereo-photo.
