VR Glinka starts working at the Nizhny Novgorod Conservatory

Mikhail Ivanovich Glinka greets guests from the large touchscreen of the information booth, tells stories about his childhood and hobbies, shares his impressions of meetings with Alexander Pushkin and his opinion on the playing style of Liszt and John Field. You can also take a souvenir photo with the composer. Moreover, Mikhail Glinka will take a picture himself, and also send a photo to your smartphone or email.

The visual image of the virtual Mikhail Ivanovich is created with the help of computer graphics and is brought to life by the Triaxes Selfie Booth software.

The project was commissioned by the staff of the Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory named after M.I. Glinka, who prepared the texts of the script, as well as actively participated in the creation of the image and the preparation of information materials.

Virtual Mikhail Ivanovich uses new technologies in the field of programming and video processing. The appearance of the character, created by means of classical make-up, was refined by digital make-up methods.

The functionality of the program was improved especially for the project: support for subtitles in three languages (Russian, Chinese, English), the ability to show additional videos (stories) and information materials.
