The project «The History of the Region as Part of Russian History: The Seven Years’ War» has been realized.
In August 2025, the results of a large‑scale multimedia project were announced, implemented by Triaxes Line LLC and the Kaliningrad Regional Scientific Library: «The History of the Region — the History of Russia. The Seven Years’ War».

Digitized book collections, archival materials from the library, illustrations, maps, and historians’ research on the topic have been integrated into a multimedia exhibition featuring an infographic interactive map of the Seven Years’ War battles in East Prussia and a digital platform on the KONB website. The project’s VK page gathers educational materials on the Seven Years’ War. This is a unique, unified multimedia information resource on the Seven Years’ War in East Prussia — the only one in Russia.
Specifically for the project, Triaxes developed software, an animated interactive tour film, and a «photo in a picture» system. The multimedia interactive approach combines educational content with the pleasure of learning, fostering interest in the subject matter and emotional engagement.
The multimedia exhibition and online resource serve as the region’s first database for interactive educational events in the library’s exhibition hall and off‑site. As part of the project, 2,957 people participated in 80 educational events (interactive lectures on the Seven Years’ War) using the new multimedia exhibition; 1,596 people attended 16 off‑site interactive lectures using the online interactive map at 8 municipal libraries. 91,200 users explored the new information resource on the Seven Years’ War on the library’s website.
The library practice, based on the project’s outcomes, has been nominated for the All‑Russian Competition for the Best Library Practice, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
